How to Transfer Domain to Godaddy

How totransfer a domain from other registrar to the world No.1 domain controland registration company – godaddy confused many people. This articleis an ultimate tutorial for doing this. We take Ixwebhosting forexample.

3, Change Lock Settings
If your domain was on Locked stat, you must unlock it first.

Unlock it:

4, request the Authorization code for domain tranfer:

Click on the」Send Auth Code」, and then the authorization code will send to your email address.
5, Check your email, you』ll find a letter that named 「Authorization code of your domain registration」 from IXwebhosting.

3, click in and enter with the domain name your want to transfer

6, set your domain DNS

( z0 R* c- T5 p; z/ f8, pay for your offer for $6.99 plus a 18 cent fee,then godaddy will send you an email (to the address in your domainwhois record) with the Transaction ID and Security Code (veryimportant).
9, Log in to your godaddy account and click 「Domain Manager」 In the My Products section.
10, Select Pending Transfers from the Domains menu. You』ll see this:

12, In the Transaction ID and Security Code fields, enter the codes which godaddy sent to you, then click Next.

Final step, click on the 「Finish」 button.
In the next 5 work days, you will receive an email from godaddy, and that』s means your domain transfer succeed.
