鐵匠的故事

An old blacksmith realized he was soon going to quit working sohard. He picked out a strong young man to become his apprentice.

　　　　從前一個小鎮上有個鐵匠, 他老了的時候, 覺得自己對工作越來越力不從心, 於是請了一個強壯的年輕人當學徒.
　　
: I9 o5 v1 M" _　　　　The old fellow was crabby and exacting. "Don』t ask me a lot ofquestions," he told the boy. "Just do whatever I tell you to do."
　　
　　　　這個老鐵匠脾氣很暴躁, 要求又嚴格. 總是衝著徒弟吼:"不要什麼事都問個不停! 照我說的做就是了!"
　　
　　　　One day the old blacksmith took an iron out of the forge and laid iton the anvil. "Get the hammer over there," he said. "When I nod myhead, hit it real good and hard." Now the town is looking for a newblacksmith.
