  E. e. k* Z5 t+ M    SHIJIAZHUANG， September 5（Xinhuanet）—The police in north China 『s Hebei Province have cracked a major serial armed homicide and robbery  case designated as the No. 1 case in Hebei』s 「strike hard 」 campaign.

    Police officers have arrested Wu Erguo， the principal criminal suspect  in the case.

    Eleven similar homicide and robbery cases occurred successively in  six counties administered by Xingtai City from August 7 last year to May  28 this year.

    Gangsters committed robbery with pistols at gasoline stations ， grain  purchasing stations and other commercial outlets along highways ， murdering  nine people and injuring many others.
